Cherry Hill is a small "hill" located towards the west of the Bethesda Fountain and Terrace. This is actully a small elevation which provides a very good view of the Lake, Bow Bridge and The Ramble. It got its name from the numerous cherry trees located here.


It is located at the level of 72nd street in westren part of the park. Nearby attractions include Strawbery Fields towards its west,The Ramble towards its north and Behthesda Fountain and Terrace towards it east. The Lake surrounds it on its west, north and east sides.

At the center is a beautiful fountain. The founatain was originally designed for the horses to drink water but now the horses
