Dairy is one of the most bautiful and attractive buildings of the central park. If you are visiting the southern part of the park it is very difficult to miss it.It is located in the southern part of the central park at the level of 6th avenue and 65th street. Nearby attractions include Wollman Rink towards south and Chess and Checker House towards south west. Wildlife conservation center and childrens Zoo are towards its east.



It was originally built in 19th century to cope with the shortage of good quality milk in new york city. Now a days the dairy serves as a visitors center and a Gift shop. All sorts of informaiton booklets, maps and event information material can be found here. A lots of central park conservancy customized gift itoms can also be found here.
