The ravine is a wood land in continuation with the North Woods in the Northern Part of the Central Park.It is located at the level of 103rd to 106th street in the mid park area. Nearby attractions include Lasker Rink and Pool towards and North Woods towards its North. The Great Hill is towards its west and the conservancy garden is on its East. The North Meadow is to its South.
Its a lush green area with thick forest and vegetation. If you want to get lost in the middle of a bid city then its the perfect area. Naturalists and bird watcher are one of the most frequent visitors of this area. The loch is a stream which flow through the Center of the ravine. Its curvy course along with the bridges and small water falls add to the beauty of the Ravine
