Lasker Rink and Pool

Lasker rink is one of the two rinks located in the Central Park. The other being the Wollman rink located in the Southern Part of the Park. Lasker Rinks is located near the northern border of the Central Park in the Mid Park area at the level of 106th to 108th streets.


Nearby attractions include North Woods towards its North, The Ravine and The Loch towards its South. The Harlem Meer with Nutters battery and Fort Clinton are located towards its East.East drives encircles around it on the southern side.

The Rink was built in 1960 being sponsored by Lasker Sister. This venues is host of lot of activities around the year. In the winter its serves as a venue for winter sports like skating


During the summer it serves as a free public swimming pool and can host more than 1000 swimmers at a time. Its a favorite venue for children of all ages
