East Green is one of the beautiful lawns of the central park. It is named so because of its lush green grass and other beautiful colors. It is located near the easteren border of the park from 69th to 72nd street.
East Green is a quiet zone and a favourite place for activites like sun-bathing, relaxing, reading etc.
Near by attractions include Ramsey Playfield towards the west and the Dene towards the south.Terrace drive passes along its north side and east drive along its west.
