Wollman Rink

Wollman Rink is an ice skating located in the South-Eastren part of the park from 62nd to 63rd steet.Near by attractions include Dairy on the North, Hallet Nature Sanctuary and The Pond towards its south. Chess and Checkers House is towards its north west and Wild life conservation center (Zoo) is on its East.


The Rink was built in 1949 and was named after Kate Wollman who donated funds to build it.

Since its inauguarl it is one of the most famous attractions of the central park. In winter hunderds of people come to skate here every day. In summers it is transmormed in to a concert venue
